Active Ministries

Bus Ministry

Harvest Temple provides a van for rides to services on Sunday morning and Wednesday night.
Ron and Kathy Price coordinate rides and act as monitors for the Sunday School run. They will pick up children who otherwise might not be able to attend. For all services, the van will pick up individuals who otherwise would have no other way to church, sometimes making multiple runs for one service.
If you have a child you want to send to Sunday School, or if you need a ride yourself, please call Kathy Price at 217-883-2856.

Deaf Ministry

Harvest Temple is dedicated to taking the Christ's message to the world, and provides sign language interpretation for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Ron Martin heads the Deaf Ministry. He is a retired teacher from the Illinois School for the Deaf, and is fluent in sign language.
Ron is supported by his wife, Pat Martin, and others with varying levels of skill.

Azusa StreetRiders

The Harvest Temple Chapter of Azusa StreetRiders is led by president Austin Seaton and currently has 5 members. From the Azusa StreetRiders' website: "What sets Azusa StreetRiders apart from every other Christian motorcycle ministry or club in the world?
We are bikers of — the name! And that name is — JESUS!
Across the globe, nearly 700 Christian motorcycle ministries and clubs have been identified, but Azusa StreetRiders stands alone in professing and proclaiming the name of JESUS as the one name that fulfills all the qualifications of Matthew 28:19, the one name in which all believers are to be baptized (see Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, etc.), and therefore the only name by which we must be saved — even as the scripture says: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12 New International Version)."
